One person has died and more than 500 have been injured after Typhoon Champi swept across Taiwan, damaging infrastructure and disrupting power supplies.
Trees were knocked down and flights were cancelled as the storm passed the island on Saturday. Authorities continued to assess the damage.
The typhoon has weakened and is moving north towards China's coast. Officials have warned residents to remain alert as weather conditions change.
